SCENAR & Energy Blanket
SCENAR
Scenar Expert Pro – Electro-energetic interactivity
The theory of electro-energetic therapy is that our health relies on a continuous exchange of nerve information and energy within the body. Every function of the body is interrelated and works in harmony with the others, until painful stress, injury or disease disrupts those communication and energy pathways. The Scenar Pro interacts with the body's neural functions through direct contact with the skin. It tunes into the body's nerve and energy responses and reads how the body responds to its impulse signals. The Scenar Pro then answers those responses with further electrical impulses that communicate with the nervous system, stimulating the body's own regulatory process and prompting the body to respond.
Scenar Expert Pro – Relieve pain and improve function
The Scenar Pro is designed to relieve pain and so improve function. It is credited with reducing recovery times.
Scenar Expert Pro – Individual assessment and treatment
In assessment mode, the Scenar Pro precisely locates and digitally monitors the patient's key point areas, with digital readouts. The treatment happens automatically as the device is placed on the problem points, and the Scenar Pro shows the stages of interaction: IR (initial reaction), Dose and Zero. This means each treatment is individually tailored to the responses at that key point at that time. The device has many settings and modes which, combined with its interactive function, make sure the body is stimulated individually to prompt change, so the body does not easily adapt to the treatment as it can with some other therapies. A response to Scenar Pro treatment, and improvement, is often noticeable from the first session.
Energy Blanket
How does it work?
Based on the original work of Wilhelm Reich, the Energy Blanket was developed to help the body and mind rest, recover and rejuvenate.
"Orgone" energy was the term Reich used for the subtle body energy that is part of our being, which is said to become depleted or disordered through internal and external influences. The Energy Blanket works by reflecting away external energies that may be affecting the body, and by reflecting the body's own energies back to it. The blanket is used to help the body energetically restore itself.
How does it feel?
The first thing people usually feel when wrapped in the Energy Blanket is a complete and pleasant sense of protection. External influences are reduced, blocked or reflected away. You may then notice subtle shifts as the blanket reflects back the body's own infrared and ultra-high frequencies.
You may feel warmth in one part of the body, which usually passes within minutes. You may also experience a sense of inner peace and quiet that leads to a state of rest, something like meditation.
We recommend sleeping in the blanket, for anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours. If you sleep completely covered from head to toe, you will usually wake with a definite sense of completion. Often a short period of 10 to 90 minutes achieves this, although people who are very unwell may wish to sleep in the blanket for 24 hours or longer.
PLEASE NOTE: The Energy Blanket is NOT a listed ARTG therapeutic medical device. The Energy Blanket has not been formally researched, so no therapeutic claims are made for it.

Self-Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulator
SCENAR is a hand-held therapeutic medical device. Used in SCENAR therapy treatments, the device can uniquely and interactively locate, measure and prompt problem areas in the body (asymmetries) through the skin, to help relieve pain and restore function.
How does SCENAR therapy work?
Your health relies on a continuous exchange of information within the body.
Every function is interrelated and works in harmony with the others, until stress, injury or disease disrupts the communication. SCENAR communicates with all of the body's functions through the skin, tuning in to the body's internal communication and reading its needs from the signals sent back and forth. SCENAR responds to these signals with gentle impulses that communicate with the nervous system, stimulating the body's healing process so it can work at its best.
The process SCENAR uses is called reflex biofeedback. It is an ongoing conversation that happens in real time and needs no conscious mental effort.
The SCENAR sends a series of signals through the skin and measures the response. Each signal is only sent once a change, in response to the previous signal, is recorded in the properties of the skin. All the nerves in the body react to this stimulation and are responsible for producing neuropeptides and other regulatory peptides.
The body can become used to a stable but unhealthy state, which may have been caused by injury or disease. The SCENAR acts as a catalyst, stimulating the body where needed to produce regulatory peptides. These neuropeptides in turn re-establish the body's natural physiological state and are responsible for the healing process. As these peptides last for up to several hours, the healing process continues long after the treatment is over. The large number of neuropeptides and C-fibres in the central nervous system means that treating one area can also help with other chemical imbalances, including sleeplessness, appetite and even behavioural problems.

SCENAR Influence
SCENAR treatment has both local effects (it stimulates the skin and blood vessels) and a general influence, by affecting the neural and hormonal regulation systems.
The nervous system performs the main function of a living organism: regulation, and adapting to the demands of the environment, with the ultimate goal of survival.
The nervous system has three main parts:
The central nervous system includes the brain and spinal cord. The brain controls the heartbeat, breathing, temperature, blood pressure, movement, nutrition and our interaction with the outside world through the senses. The upper parts of the brain are the seat of consciousness and memory, which define the human personality.
The spinal cord sits in the spine and has 31 segments. Each segment supplies the organs and tissues at its own level and also carries communication between the brain and the other spinal segments.
The peripheral nervous system links the brain (through the spinal cord) with the skin, muscles and internal organs.
A special set of nerve centres in the brain, the spinal cord and along the sides of the spine is called the autonomic nervous system. It manages the functions of the internal organs, the processes that are not under conscious control. Its sympathetic and parasympathetic branches have stimulating and calming effects respectively.
The body's hormonal control system includes the endocrine glands and specialised brain structures that release substances which control metabolism and influence the activity of particular tissues, organs or the body as a whole. Disorders in hormone production, or in how sensitive tissues and organs are to hormones, cause a number of diseases, because the biological feedback loop between the systems is interrupted.
Every living organism constantly regulates its internal processes to suit its own needs and its environment. This process, fundamental to survival, is called self-regulation.
For self-regulation to work, a constant flow of information about external and internal conditions must reach the brain. This happens in two ways: through electrical impulses (neural) and through chemical substances (humoral). The two are linked, but the faster electrical path plays the leading role.
Information from the senses, the skin and the internal organs is analysed and processed, and the brain centres send commands to the relevant organs and tissues to stimulate or calm their activity. These commands are carried out either by direct nerve control (as in muscles) or by releasing special chemical substances called mediators.
The effect is then assessed. Incoming nerves report how the body's state has changed, so the influence can be stopped or continued as needed. Through this biofeedback the body reaches a stable condition, or shifts its balance point to adapt to the environment, for example by activating muscles to produce more heat in cold weather.
At a finer level, the same process applies to mobilising the body to resist disease, heal injury or cope with its effects.
The body is an open system, constantly interacting with its environment. The skin is both the outer barrier and a sensory organ. In the embryo it develops from the same cell layer as the nervous system, and it remains closely linked to it. The practice of stimulating nerve endings in the skin at particular points to influence the organs and systems is called reflex therapy. Traditional healing methods such as acupuncture, acupressure and moxibustion discovered, through thousands of years of observation and trial, a system of active points that can influence the internal organs by using the unique relationship between the skin and the inner workings of the whole body.
Later, as the electrical nature of nerve processes was discovered, electrical stimulation of the skin came into practice, and the latest step in this development is SCENAR therapy. Active points on the skin are stimulated by electrical impulses modelled on the natural discharges of the nervous system and adaptively controlled by feedback. This produces a unique effect, stimulating and optimising the regulatory abilities of the nervous system to restore health and protect wellbeing.
